France - spring 2023
In early spring of 2023 we travelled to the south of France with our Jolly Egg.
The firsyt town we visited was Avignon.
Next we travelled to Rousillion- Vaucluse with it's special yellow / orange rocks.
We visiyted Village de Bories near Gordes, dating back to the Bronze Age!
On the way we passed Château de Lourmarin , with a herd of donkeys, and some other vilages like Bonnieux and Lauris.
The small city Fontains les Fontaines was quiet and very nice.
The next stop was Bagnols-sur-Cèze
The city of Uzès was very photogenic.
We again visited Pont du Gard after many years, finding again the beautiful more than 1000 years old olive trees!
The town of Bagnols-sur-Cèze.
And finally the village Goudargues where we ended our journey.
